David was recently awarded Second Prize for the Prix D'Ete Composition Competition. His Winning work "Bass Quartet" will be performed on April 16th 12:00PM in Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall.
David was recently awarded a Peabody Development grant to participate in a concert series that will perform in Baltimore and NYC with the ensemble REDSHIFT.

David was awarded the Ada Arens Morawetz Memorial Award in Composition during the 2008 graduation ceremony of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
David received an honorable mention from 2007 CLEFWORKS Composition Competition for his composition titled "Miniatures for Piano Trio."
